What is steel grating
Steel grating is an open grid metal product made by welding parallel bearing bars to perpendicular cross bars at a fixed mesh pitch. Anping Hand in Hand produces press welded carbon steel grating, 304 and 316 stainless steel grating and aluminum grating for industrial platforms, walkways, stair treads, drainage trench covers and offshore decking.
Each panel is hot dip galvanized to ASTM A123 with mean coating between 75 and 120 micron, produced to the dimensional rules of ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531 and BS 4592, and shipped with a mill certificate keyed to the heat number of your order.

- Press welded grating. Heavy press welded by machine. Highest strength and tightest tolerance, used for industrial platforms and walkways under heavy loads.
- Swage locked grating. Cross bars swage locked into bearing bars for aluminum or stainless variants where welding is not preferred.
- Serrated grating. Bearing bars serrated for anti slip. Required on wet, oily or pedestrian surfaces in chemical and food plants.
- Composite grating. Top sealed with checker plate to prevent small parts from falling through. Common on offshore and chemical platforms.
